Title:The Weight Distributions of a Class of Cyclic Codes with Three Nonzeros over F3
View PDFAbstract:Cyclic codes have efficient encoding and decoding algorithms, they are a subclass of linear block codes and have appliations in consumer electronics, data storage systems and communication systems. In general, the dimensions of the codes are flexible. Their weight distributions are complicated and known only for a few cases mainly on the codes with no more than three nonzeros. In this paper, the weight distributions of a class of cyclic codes with three nonzeros are determined.
