Title:Image Forgery Localization Based on Multi-Scale Convolutional Neural Networks
View PDFAbstract:In this paper, a digital image forgery localization method based on Multi-Scale Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) is proposed. To deal with input sliding windows of different scales, we adopt a unified CNN architecture. To learn robust multi-scale tampering detectors, we elaborately design the training procedures of CNNs on sampled training patches. With a set of carefully trained multi-scale CNNs, complementary tampering possibility maps can be generated, and then fused to get the final decision maps. By exploiting the benefits of both the small-scale and large-scale analyses, the multi-scale analysis can lead to a performance leap in forgery localization of CNNs. Numerous experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.
